Abstract In the present study, crystalline cellulose biomass material was converted into carbon nanoparticles via carbonization to activated with micropores of various sizes. This subsequently subjected aqueous counter collision (ACC) produce hydrophobic porous functional particles. Initially, raw carbonized materials pore distributions prior ACC.
